Photo Shoot Costs (plus HST)

All shoots are negotiable based on personal circumstances. Here some guides when considering cost.

1. Time is billed at $90/hour with a 2 hour minimum.

2. Billing time includes preparation and travel time – organizing equipment and associated travel to the location shoot, the shoot, and image review at the shoot.

3. Post-shoot cost (known as post-processing) are billed at $60/hour involve initial basic editing and a website preparation for web-based image review. Obviously, the longer the original shoot, the more time needed to process images. Also, the more editing required (e.g., removing blemishes) the more time required. On average it takes 1-2 hours (basic editing) for every hour if image capture.

4. Family and wedding shoots involve an assistant at an extra $60/hour. This person both assists with image composition and, for weddings, image capture – second camera.
